Andrew C. Rayford
Drew practices in the area of insurance litigation where he represents various insurance companies in both coverage and first- and third-party bad faith disputes.
Prior to joining Pipes Miles Beckman, Drew earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, graduating second of the Civil Law Division and third of the Common and Civil Law combined sections. While in law school, Drew served as a Casenote & Comment Editor of the Loyola Law Review for Volume 65 and 66. In addition, he served as a Rule XX Student practitioner in the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice where n
he successfully argued for and defended numerous indigent defendants, including obtaining a not guilty verdict in a bench trial in front of the Honorable Mark Shea. Drew also externed as a judicial law clerk for Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle in the Eastern District of Louisiana, where he authored and co-authored several opinions on laws ranging from bankruptcy to habeas corpus. He earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with minors in Medicine & Society and Health.
Outside of work, Drew enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and fishing, and watching as much sports as possible.
