  • The Firm currently represents an IT contractor in a contract and commercial defamation case involving its contract with a local government.

  • Representing executives of a healthcare staffing company in a dispute with their former employer concerning enforcement of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.

  • Firm attorneys have represented numerous financial advisors in connection with change of broker-dealer affiliation and non-compete or non-solicitation agreement issues.

  • N’Orleans Po’Boy Place LLC v. Culinary Construction Co. LLC, No. 18-5349 (E.D. La.). Our attorneys successfully defended a nationwide restaurant group against claims that they stole trade secrets concerning a restaurant concept that the restaurant group and the plaintiffs had been jointly working to develop.

  • J.M. Smith Corp. v. Ciolino Pharmacy Wholesale Distributors, L.L.C., No. 14-250 (E.D. La.). Firm attorneys represented a pharmaceutical company in a dispute with its distributor. A jury trial resulted before Judge Jay Zainey and ended in a complete victory for the Firm’s client, including a judgment of more than $10 million and a full dismissal of the defendant’s counterclaims.

  • SCB Diversified Municipal Portfolio v. Crews & Associates, No. 09-7351, 2011 WL 6141429 (E.D. La. Dec. 9, 2011). In this securities fraud lawsuit, Stephen Miles obtained dismissal on summary judgment of the securities fraud and negligent misrepresentation claims against his client, a regional law firm. Stephen obtained the deposition testimony needed to obtain summary judgment and crafted the arguments that resulted in his client’s dismissal.
