Mia J. Lewis

Mia J. Lewis practices in the areas of insurance defense and general civil litigation.  Mia represents insurers in first-party coverage litigation and third-party liability disputes in state and federal court.

About

Mia has gained extensive motion practice experience and obtained favorable rulings in Louisiana state and federal courts. Mia began her legal career as a staff attorney with the Louisiana Civil Justice Center, where she assisted pro se litigants with court proceedings and navigating the legal system unrepresented. Mia clerked in both Orleans Parish Criminal and Civil Court and immediately prior to private practice Mia was a Staff Attorney at the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal.

Mia received her Juris Doctor from Loyola University College of Law, her Masters of Public Administration from Bellevue University and her Bachelor of Arts from Southeastern Louisiana University. During law school Mia externed at the City Attorneys Office and the Louisiana Civil Justice Center.
