Michael danon

ABOUT

Michael spent the majority of the first decade of his career as a prosecutor with the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office. As a member of the trials division, Michael has tried hundreds of cases, including over thirty major crimes jury trials through verdict. As Deputy Chief of Trials, Michael was instrumental both in gaining trial victories and training the next generation of courtroom advocates. Additionally, as a member of the Appellate Division, Michael has handled numerous writs and appeals, arguing before the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal and Louisiana Supreme Court on a wide range of evidentiary, statutory, and constitutional issues. Now, in his civil practice, Michael puts his advocacy and appellate skills to work handling a broad array of matters for corporate clients. When he is not representing clients, he is teaching Tulane students legal writing at the A.B. Freeman School of Business, or you can catch him on the rugby pitch.
