Emily E. Ross practices complex commercial litigation, insurance defense, and bad faith litigation.
About
Emily has extensive experience representing clients in an array of civil litigation disputes, including contract disputes, toxic tort litigation, employment law, construction litigation, surety law, and appellate work. Her insurance experience includes representing insurers in first-party coverage and statutory bad faith disputes, as well as in third-party bodily injury disputes in state and federal court.
Emily received her law degree from Tulane University Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude and served as Notes and Commends Editor for the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law and the John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition Chair. Emily earned her undergraduate degree from Eugene Lang College – The New School for Liberal Arts in New York City, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Following law school, Emily clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge Ulysses Gene Thibodeaux of the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal and then spent six years in private practice. She also served as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Law teaching Advanced Appellate Advocacy from 2014-2017 at Tulane Law School.
Emily is admitted to practice before all Louisiana State Courts as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
