Luke Donovan
ABOUT
Currently, Luke counsels insurers on third-party liability and first-party insurance coverage and litigation issues. Prior to joining PMB, Luke served as an Assistant Attorney General (AAG) for the Louisiana Department of Justice, Office of Attorney General. During his tenure with the state, Luke served in the Civil Governmental, Administrative, and Civil Litigation Divisions. Luke’s litigation experience includes representing state agencies and its employees in automobile accidents and road hazards claims in Louisiana state courts. He provided defense in all stages of litigation, obtaining favorable rulings for the state. During his time in the Civil Governmental and Administrative Divisions, Luke served as the LADOJ’s subject matter expert in Louisiana Public Records Law. To that end, he maintained the department’s Public Records Awareness Program, which is established to educate the general public, public bodies, and custodians regarding the provisions of the Public Records Law.
