Stephen Miles Appointed to the Louisiana Law Institute’s Torts and Insurance Committee

The Committee’s purpose is to consider needed improvement in the law, and to make recommendations to the Louisiana Legislature regarding them.  This year, the Committee has been asked by the Legislature to study the laws concerning the awarding of penalties and attorneys’ fees under Louisiana’s Insurance Code and make recommendations to the legislature regarding potential changes.
