Pipes Miles Beckman attorneys, Lindsey Soboul and Katherine Swartout, are presenting at the New Orleans Bar Association Procrastinators' Programs, "For Young Lawyers, By Young Lawyers" on December 14th.
Lindsey Soboul is a panelist on the topic of "Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard, Trail of the Century?" This will be a dive into the six-week defamation trial that captivated the nation. An analysis of the often heard "objection hearsay" and discussion of aggressive and objections and disputed evidentiary rulings from the case. Panelist will also discuss jury bias, media tactics, and trial techniques in high profile cases.
Katherine Swartout is a panelist on the topic of "Mastering Mediation." This topic will teach young lawyers what to expect at mediation and how to prepare for successful resolution.
