Pipes Miles Beckman partner Alexis Joachim will serve as Program Chair of Insurance Law in Louisiana, a conference presented by The Seminar Group. The event will provide practitioners and insurance professionals with an update on new developments impacting the insurance industry in Louisiana. Presentations will be hosted by attorneys with a range of experience representing insurers and policyholders and will include timely discussions on insurance cases that should not be missed.
In addition to being Program Chair, Alexis will present “Recent Developments and Case Law” with Rachel Kellogg, Of Counsel at Pipes Miles Beckman. The pair will discuss a variety of insurance developments including a hurricane update, an update on indemnity, and specific cases that have affected the insurance industry.
Kristin Beckman, founding partner of Pipes Miles Beckman will also participate and present on first and third-party auto claims including applicable penalty statutes, discovery issues with recent trends and updates on substance, success, and newer developments in dispositive motion practice.
