Katie Roth manages both a commercial litigation and an appellate law practice. She represents clients in complex commercial disputes that include the following areas: patent and trademark litigation; director and officer liability; unfair trade practices; class actions; contract disputes; construction litigation; and numerous oil and gas cases of all kinds. In addition to her litigation practice, she also handles appellate matters and is sought out by her clients to resolve complex appellate procedural issues, prepare appellate briefs and writ applications, oral arguments, and assess the likelihood of success on appeal.
Katie has been recognized by numerous publications that recognize legal excellence including Louisiana Super Lawyers where she has been recognized as both a Super Lawyer and Rising Star. She was also listed in New Orleans Magazine’s List of “Top Lawyers,” 2017-2019; and named as a Future Star by Benchmark Litigation in 2009. Best Lawyers in America named her to their publication in 2023.
Jeff Clayman manages a robust commercial and business litigation and insurance-related practice. He generally represents small, local businesses in the Greater New Orleans area, which helps him connect to the community as many lawyers are dealing with out-of-state companies that have operations here vs. local companies. Much of his work deals with disputes arising out of business disagreements with other businesses or disputes from within and business break-ups. Jeff handles a variety of industries, including construction, short-term rental companies, health care, entertainment, and real estate.
Jeff has been named by multiple publications that rate and rank lawyers and law firms for his legal ability and acumen. He is an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell; was named as a Louisiana Super Lawyers Rising Star; named to the “Ones to Watch” in Law by New Orleans CityBusiness in 2016, and is also a graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy.
